The organization responsible for promoting tourism to the City of Pella has launched its newest visitors’ guide this week. Visit Pella hosted an open house Thursday to celebrate their 2024 edition. The organization known officially as the Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau is in an agreement with the Pella City Council to provide marketing to attract visitors to the community, receiving 60% of hotel-motel tax revenues on an annual basis.
Visit Pella is responsible for organizing the annual Christmas Tour of Homes and Kerstmarkt Dutch Christmas market, and assists with promoting several community events throughout the year, according to Cherie Westerkamp with the office, who says the 2023 holiday season was a success.
