The Knoxville Wrestling Squad placed 14th in a loaded 21 team Rich Gray Invitational at I-35 on Saturday. The Panthers came away with three place winners led by Daniel Gorskikh’s 1st place at 175 pounds. He remained unbeaten on the season winning the weight class. Other place winners were Tre DeRaad at 113 pounds and Regan Roberts at 285 pounds, both placing 4th. Knoxville heads to the South Central Conference Meet on Thursday.
The Knoxville Bowling Squads split with Norwalk on Saturday as the girls pulled off a close battle 1974-1944 while the boys fell to the Warriors 2718-2492. The girls were led by Brigette Renard with a high series of 291 and a high game of 183 while the boys were led by Tristen Carter rolling a high series of 404 and a high game of 221. The Panthers host Sigourney in a make up dual on Friday.
