The Pleasantville boys wrestling team finished tied for second overall and the girls team finished eighth in their respective weekend competitions.

The Trojan boys finished tied for second at the Kurt Hinschberger Invitational hosted by Belle Plaine with 163 team points. Tommy Booth and Carter Metcalf both had first place finishes for Pleasantville while Zane Mullenix and Caleb Cook placed second. 

The Trojan girls finished eighth overall at the Rich Gray Women’s Wrestling Invitational hosted by Interstate 35 with 51 team points. Madilyn Rowson had a first place finish for Pleasantville at 155 pounds.

The Pleasantville girls will be back in action on Monday at home for the Trojan duals and the Pleasantville boys will be back in action on Thursday for a quad at East Union.
