Relief from frigid wind chills has arrived, but with it, an increased chance of slick roads has returned as well.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued to start at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and continue through noon. Air temperatures are expected to stay in the mid 30s for the rest of the week into early next, however, the colder surface currently, combined with melting snow and other factors will make a wintry mix of precipitation possible during the advisory time.

Travel could be hazardous, especially in locations that receive consistent sleet or freezing rain. Additional chances for rainfall return later in the week, and that, mixed with melting snow, could cause additional refreeze in some locations and travel problems on gravel roads due to excess moisture.
