The Knoxville Wrestling Squad will head to Centerville for the South Central Conference Meet tonight. The Panthers are defending champions of the conference meet but it will be a tough challenge this season as the young Panthers will be challenged by regular season champion Albia, who has one of the top 285 pound wrestlers in the state. Knoxville’s 285 pound wrestler Regan Roberts tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he would love to have the chance to wrestle Albia’s Paul Ballard, but knows he must earn that spot to challenge.

Roberts: “I have a tough conference with a few ranked wrestlers. Paul Ballard is a great wrestler and I’ve been striving to wrestle him and even beat him, so that’s what I’m hoping for.”

Action is set to get underway tonight at 5:30.
