Pleasantville Activities Director Joel Allman is stepping down as head volleyball coach.

Allman spent six years as varsity coach and four years as the junior high coach. Allman tells KNIA/KRLS sports the reason he is giving up coaching is that with his current activities director position, he wanted to find more time to spend with family. Allman led the Pleasantville volleyball team to their best record in school history this past season, when they picked up 27 total wins. Pleasantville has started the process in seeking out their next head volleyball coach.
