Area jazz bands will perform in the Iowa High School Music Association’s State Jazz Band Festival on Saturday. 

Norwalk High School is one of five sites hosting the State Jazz Band Festival, with Indianola and Norwalk scheduled to perform. Indianola Jazz band 2 performs first at 10:50 am, followed by Norwalk Jazz Band 2 at 11:30 am. Following a lunch break, Indianola Jazz Bands 1 and 3 and Norwalk Jazz Band 1 will perform from 12:55-2:15 pm. The Knoxville Jazz Band is also performing on Saturday at Oskaloosa High School at 1 pm. 

Admission for the State Jazz Band Festival is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for K-12 students.
