The Knoxville Basketball Squads are back in action tonight on Knoxville High School Athletic Hall of Fame Induction night. The Panthers will host Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in must win games for both boys and girls. The girls need a win over the league leader Rockets to stay within striking distance of the South Central Conference. The boys, after a loss to Clarke on Monday have fallen out of first place, but can still get back into the mix with a win over EBF. Coach Troy Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports with more games coming up, he is not worried about how the guys will hold up physically.
Pearson: “I’m not too worried about it, our kids are pretty good cardio wise. They get into the gym and play, and I think at this point they would prefer to play than practice.”
Live coverage will be on 95.3 KNIA with the pregame at 6:15. You can also listen to the Knoxville High School Athletic Hall of Fame indications in between the girls and boys games.
