The organization responsible for promoting tourism to the City of Pella has launched its newest visitors’ guide. Visit Pella hosted an open house last week to celebrate their 2024 edition. The organization known officially as the Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau is in an agreement with the Pella City Council to provide marketing to attract visitors to the community, receiving 60% of hotel-motel tax revenues on an annual basis.
Visit Pella is responsible for organizing the annual Christmas Tour of Homes and Kerstmarkt Dutch Christmas market, and assists with promoting several community events throughout the year, according to Bailey Short with the office. She says the guide is a way for a visitor to get an overview of what is available to attend in 2024 and provides resources to begin planning that trip.
