Pleasantville boys basketball coach Taylor Phipps says he is proud of the growth of his team.

“The guys are really starting to gel, and thrive in their roles. That’s been fun to watch as a coach. The season started in November and every season is a new season with a new roster, and new guys filling into different roles. Here we are now finishing up January and I’m really proud of the growth they’ve made individually, but also collectively as a team.”

The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action today when they travel to Chariton. Tip off for the girls game is scheduled for 4:15 pm with the boys game to follow.
