The Red Rock Lake Association, in partnership with the US Army Corp of Engineers and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fisheries are planning to install artificial structures in Lake Red Rock to enhance fish habitats.
The purpose of the project is to improve degraded or nonexistent structural habitat features and provide quality fish habitats in Lake Red Rock that will promote improved fish populations for a variety of species and improve fisherman success rates. The meeting will describe the project in more detail and provide a forum for public input on potential locations for placement of fish habitat structures.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held Thursday at the Lake Red Rock Visitor Center beginning at 6:30 pm.
