Indianola sixth grade students will have their art displayed publicly after competing in a state-wide art competition. Avery Shipman, Illea Chadwick, and Casen Nelsen all won top finishes in the youth art show. Casen’s art will be photographed and be the iowa Flag at the National Art Education Conference, and Illea’s artwork will be displayed at the Governor’s offices in the Iowa Capitol building in March. All three winners will be featured in a state-wide art shot throughout March at Jordan Creek Mall. Find photos of the winners here.
