The Knoxville Wrestling Squad finished 7th at the Southern Iowa Classic in Fairfield on Saturday. The Panthers scored 88 team points and got four top four place winners including two champions in Daniel Gorskikh at 170 pounds and Regan Roberts at 285. Tre DeRaad scored a runner-up at 113 pounds and Tristan Sinnard placed 4th at 150 pounds. The Panthers are off until February 6th when they head to Carlisle.
At Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa, the Knoxville Bowling Squads were swept by Bondurant-Farrar on Saturday. The boys fell to the Blue Jays 2951-2862 and the girls lost by four pins 1991-1987. The boys were led by Tristen Carter with a high series of 484 and a high game of 258. The girls were led by Bridgette Renard rolling a high series of 311 and a high game of 186. The Panthers will take on Pella Christian at Statesmen Lanes on Saturday.
