The Pella Christian girls bowling team grabbed their first win of the season against Isaac Newton Christian Academy Saturday afternoon, while the Eagle boys fell to the Patriots. The PC girls were victorious 1666-880, but the Eagles dropped a tight boys match 2291-2127. Leading the Pella Christian girls to their first win was Macy Van Der Hart with a 2 game score of 273. Bella Pu and Emmalee Steen weren’t far behind Van Der Hart at 240 and 206, respectively. The Eagle boys were led by Andrew VanKooten in the loss with a two game score of 324, followed by Alex VanGorp at 308 and Finn Spronk at 294. The Pella Christian bowling teams next compete in a triangular against Knoxville and Issac Newton this Saturday in Oskaloosa.
