The PCM girls and boys basketball teams defeated Greene County on the road Monday night in a Heart of Iowa Conference varsity doubleheader.
The Mustang girls won their contest 48-26 to improve to 13-5 overall and 9-2 in the conference. The PCM girls were led in scoring by junior Addison Steenhoek who had 14 points and Tori Lindsay who had 12. The Mustang boys defeated the Rams 62-57 to improve to 9-8 overall and 6-5 in the conference. The PCM boys were led in scoring by seniors Jack Jungling who had 16 points and Jake Wendt who had 15.
The PCM girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action tonight for another conference doubleheader on the road at Roland-Story. Tip-off for the girls game is scheduled for 6:00 pm with the boys game to follow. Both games can be heard live on the KRLS3 stream.
