The Norwalk and Oskaloosa basketball teams will meet twice during the first nine days of February, starting with tonight’s varsity doubleheader at the NPECC in Norwalk.
Both Warrior squads are looking to bounce back following one-sided losses against Dallas Center-Grimes on Tuesday night. The Norwalk girls, who dropped one spot to ninth in the latest IGHSAU Class 4A rankings, currently stand 13-4 overall and 5-3 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Class 4A 10th-ranked Norwalk boys are 11-3 overall and 7-1 in conference play, tied with DC-G for first place.
The Oskaloosa girls are 9-6 overall and the boys are 2-12.
Tonight’s games will be carried live on 94.3 KNIA as well as KNIA3. Pregame coverage starts at approximately 6:00 p.m. and the girls game is set for a 6:15 tip-off.
Norwalk was originally scheduled to host the Indians on January 12, but the games were postponed three times due to inclement weather.
