The Simpson College men’s track and field team set two meet records en route to a successful showing at the Grinnell Invitational on Saturday.
Max Cleveland won the men’s 60 meter hurdles in a time of 8.08 to set a new meet record. Cleveland was then joined by teammates by Joseph Sams, Brenden Godbout, and Blake DePhillips to set a new meet record and win in the 4×400 meter relay, clocking a time of 3:22.84, the 10th-best mark in school history.
Simpson next competes on Saturday at the Wartburg Select Invite.
