The Indianola boys wrestling team competes against the best dual teams in the state tonight as they are in the State Dual Tournament at Xtream Arena in Coralville. The #2 seed Indianola defeated Ankeny in the regional dual finals 45-15 to advance to the top eight, and will match up with #7 Dubuque Hempstead. The Indians are undefeated on the dual stage this season, but head coach Clint Manny said there will be no easy matches this late in the season, but thankfully they have wrestled a tough schedule to get them ready for this point.

“We’ve seen the best teams in the state all year long. From the first weekend of the year to this last weekend. We’re seeing the best teams in the state, so I think we are ready and prepared, but we can always get better.”

All three of Indianola’s dual matches will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Casey Cortum on the call. Coverage begins at 10:35am.
