The Norwalk Parks and Recreation department is partnering with the NBA G-League’s Iowa Wolves to host a Norwalk Night in February.

Office Assistant with Norwalk Parks and Recreation Kari Mihalakis encourages residents to attend the event and better get to know the department staff.

“We have so many children and volunteer coaches that participate in our programs throughout the year, so we thought this would be a fun event to kind of gather everyone around and get to know our Norwalk Parks and Recreation staff and have them attend the game and have some fun with us.”

As part of the event, the first 1,000 fans in the door will receive a Wolves T-Shirt. Additionally, Norwalk Middle School students will be performing the National Anthem before the game and the Parks and Recreation Department will have a prize table set up in the concourse of the arena. A portion of each ticket sold for the game will go back to the Norwalk Parks and Recreation Department. Fans two and under do not need a ticket to the game.

The Norwalk Community Night with the Iowa Wolves will be held on Friday, February 23rd and doors for the game will open at 6:00 pm with the game starting at 7:00 pm. Find a link to purchase tickets to the game here.
