The Knoxville bowling teams defeated both Pella Christian and Isaac Newton Christian Academy in a triangular in Oskaloosa Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers won the girls meet with a score of 1796, while the Eagles edged the Patriots 1686 to 1647 for second place. Cassidy Demaderios had the top two-game score for Knoxville at 263, followed closely by Molly Anderson at 257. Pella Christian was led by Macy Van Der Hart at 242 and Bella Pu at 231.

The Panthers boys posted a score of 2927 to sweep both matches on the day, while the Eagles were edged by Isaac Newton Christian 2212-2027. Tristin Carter was Knoxville’s top bowler on the day with a 465, while Bradyn Myers wasn’t far behind with a 463. Evan DeJong led the way for the Pella Christian boys on the day with a 358, while Alex VanGorp followed with a 300. 

The Knoxville and Pella Christian bowling teams now turn their attention to the Two Rivers Bowling Conference meet at Cardinal Lanes in Newton. The Panther and Eagle girls will compete in the league meet on Friday, while the boys squads have their conference meet on Saturday.
