The Norwalk bowling teams were both defeated by Gilbert on Saturday at the Air Lanes Bowling Center in Des Moines. The Tigers won the boys’ dual 3090-2652 and took the girls’ meet 2316-2034.

Three Gilbert boys rolled two-game series scores above 400 as the team improved to 11-0 on the season. Norwalk was led by Gavin Housley’s 389 series, followed by Andrew Winfrey with a 378, Roberto Fortin 368 and Brytan Bassman 333. Winfrey, Fortin and Gavin Housley all rolled an individual high game between 226 and 216.

The Gilbert girls, now 8-3, were led by Kilee Miller’s 373 series. Norwalk’s top scores included Julia Palen with a 316, Elivia Stout 287, Anna Curran 272 and Atto White 254.

The Warrior boys are now 4-7 overall while the girls dropped to 3-8. Their next meet is the Little Hawkeye Conference Tournament this weekend at Newton’s Cardinal Lanes. The girls compete on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by the boys on Saturday at 9 a.m.
