The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

On the agenda is administering oaths of office to Police Officer Jordan Babcock and Fire Department Deputy Chief Trenton Bacus, a public hearing, accepting of a bid and awarding a contract for the 2023 Street Improvement Project, and approval of a service contract between the City of Knoxville and Veenstra and Kimm Inc. for building inspection services. Also on the agenda is a discussion of amending a city ordinance relating to the speed limit on Attica Road, approving a demolition bid for 314 E Robinson St., and a resolution accepting easements for Terrace View Knoxville LLC. 

Tonight’s Knoxville City Council meeting will start at 6:15 pm at city hall.
