The new video scoreboard at Randy Wilson Track in Knoxville is officially in place.

The scoreboard is part of the overall Randy Wilson Track improvements project that the district has been working on. The $258,341 scoreboard will be ready to use for the upcoming track and soccer season for Knoxville Community School District. KCSD Business Manager Craig Mobley says that the installation of the scoreboard is complete but the district will now start to work on the technical controls of the scoreboard. Mobley says he is grateful for the district’s partnership with Weiler and their financial contributions to Randy Wilson Track.

“They actually have it all installed. It’s up and everybody can go out and take a look at that. We’re very proud to be able to recognize Weiler for their generous donation to all the renovations at that site. We will take a look at it. We have a meet scheduled for next week to start talking about the actual technical controls of the scoreboard.”

The scoreboard will include the Weiler logo to recognize their contributions.
