The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams fell to Des Moines Christian at home Monday night in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.

The Trojan girls fell to the #3 ranked Lions 66-26 to drop to 6-14 overall and 3-10 in the conference. The Pleasantville girls were led in scoring by sophomore Lily Mason who had nine points. The Trojan boys dropped their contest to the Lions 67-36 as their seven game win streak came to an end. The loss moves the Pleasantville boys to 11-8 overall and 6-7 in the conference. The Trojan boys were led in scoring in the contest by senior Dayson Leerhoff who had 19 points.

The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action tonight when they travel to Truro to take on the Interstate 35 Roadrunners with the girls game starting at 6:15 pm and the boys game to follow.
