The Melcher-Dallas Girls basketball Squad hopes to keep their season alive tonight as the Saints tip off class 1A regional action at Southeast Warren against Moulton-Udell. Melcher-Dallas is 17-3 and has accomplished a lot this season, finishing 2nd place in the Bluegrass Conference regular season race and winning the BGC Tournament title. Coach Kelsey Goff is excited to see what her team can do in the regional where they have experience to take them on a deep run.

Goff: It’s great with the experience of these upperclassmen and their relationship they have with the freshmen and sophomores and how they interact with them.”

The Saints are an overwhelming favorite to a 1-17 Eagles club. Tip off is set for 7:00. A win by the Saints returned them to Southeast Warren to either Sigourney or Pekin.
