team-5

The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad dropped a close contest to Bondurant-Farrar on Thursday night 62-55 heard live on 95.3 KNIA. Neither team had more than a five point lead in the 1st half evident with the game being tied after the first two quarters. However the Blue Jays were able to hit shots and Knoxville went cold during a stretch in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Knoxville Coach Troy Pearson told KNIA/KRLS Sports it was just a few spots that his team was unable to put it all together.

Pearson: “It’s the combination of all those plays. We just hit a cold spell from there. They hit a few tough shots, the Miller kid in the lane hit a couple of tough turnarounds in the lane.”

Landen Norris led the Panthers with 20 points. Knoxville is now 12-7 on the season
