The Indianola City Council tabled a rezoning request at their most recent meeting, which would change the area located at 2103 East 2nd Avenue from Highway Commercial to General Industrial. City Manager Ben Reeves tells KNIA News there is overlap between commercial and industrial zoning, and there isn’t a lot of middle ground between the two. Reeves said the council tabled the discussion to work with the petitioner to better clarify what businesses would be out there.
