The Pleasantville girls basketball team fell at home to Van Buren County Saturday night in the opening round of Class 2A Region 6 regional play to end their season.
The Trojans fell to the Warriors 52-32 and were led in scoring by junior Emily Roe who had 10 points. Pleasantville ends their season with a 6-16 overall record. The Trojans played their last several games including Saturday without star guard Joelle Johnson due to injury. Despite the early exit from postseason play, the Trojans will return their entire roster next season.
