The Indianola City Council approved a contract with Sportsman Solutions for naming rights and sponsorship consultancy and management of the Pickard Park Sports Complex. Parks and Rec Director Doug Bylund tells KNIA News Pickard Park is a massive benefit for the city, and the partnership will help them increase the value of Pickard Park for the city and residents.

“We are looking to increase the revenue capabilities of the Pickard Park Sports Complex, whether it’s the disc golf course, the softball complex, and all the other sporting events that are going on around that area. Hopefully increase the advertising and amount of sponsorships, not just locally but also regionally and who knows even further than that. They’ve got a lot of connections with a lot of larger corporate sponsors that can help. Again, just investing in the park to make it better.”
