The Knoxville chapter of Freedom for Youth is currently accepting nominations for new board members.
Freedom for Youth currently has three openings for one 1-year and two 2-year terms. The ministry is specifically in need of people that have any skill sets involving experience with finances or nonprofits, understanding of the local school system, and connections with local businesses. The three new members will be joining three existing members of the advisory board, and will transition into a board of directors when the organization makes their transition to an independent 501(c)(3). Knoxville Freedom for Youth Community Coordinator Angie Gentry says to reach out if you know of people that could help on this board.
“If people know of people that can provide services that we need or they can provide those services, let us know and we would appreciate those connections.”
If you would like to nominate a board member you can email Angie at agentry@freedomforyouth.org.
