The Pleasantville boys basketball team routed Colfax-Mingo at home Monday night in the opening round of Class 2A regional play.

The Trojans defeated the Tigerhawks 66-33 to advance to the regional semi finals. Pleasantville saw an impressive offensive performance from senior Dayson Leerhoff who had 30 points and freshman Braylon Bingham who had 20. The Trojans will now travel to Story City on Thursday night to take on the Roland-Story Norsemen in the Class 2A Region 8 semi finals.
