Those looking to make a lasting impact on various community projects can do so through unique donations to the Pella Community Foundation.

President Jim Brandl says those interested are welcome to give money and through endowments, which is a more traditional route, but the other option to consider is personal assets. Brandl says anything from property to real estate to vehicles can be given, so long as they’ve been paid off beforehand.

The Pella Community Foundation recently announced it received a significant donation – farmland and a cash gift, from the Paul and Marjorie Vos Trust, through the Grow Pella initiative.
