The PCM girls basketball team will travel to Monticello tonight for the Class 3A Region 8 semifinals. 

The Mustangs defeated Grinnell Saturday night 48-43 in the opening round of regional play while Monticello knocked off Vinton-Shellsburg 49-27. The Panthers finished the regular season ranked #9 in Class 3A and currently hold a 19-3 overall record. PCM continues to be led in scoring by junior Addison Steenhoek who is averaging 14.5 points per game. Tonight’s regional semifinal game in Monticello tips off at 7:00 pm and can be heard live on the KRLS3 stream.
