It was a banner year for the Pella High School Large Group speech program, as the group earned five All-State nominations. The honors are the highest possible from the Iowa High School Speech Association:

Readers Theatre – Hallmarks of Horror (Non-Performing)
Ensemble Acting – Y’all (Non-Performing)
Group Improvisation – Demuth/Gaul (Non-Performing)
Musical Theatre – Tootsie (Non-Performing)
Ensemble Acting – Almost, Maine (Performing)
