The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Thursday night.

The meeting started with presentations regarding collective bargaining for the district, elementary literacy curriculum, a college career transition coordinator position, and a Ken Locke Stadium proposal from the SOS committee. During new business, the board approved an elementary curriculum adoption, a career transition coordinator agreement with DMACC, overnight trips for state wrestling and bowling, and set a public hearing in regards to weather make up days. The board took no action on the SOS proposal and informed the Knoxville Alumni Association to move forward with their fundraising efforts.
