The Indianola City Council will meet on Tuesday instead of today for the holiday, and will start with a study session, followed by regular business.
The presentation at 6 p.m. will focus on the Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan and discussion of regular agenda items for the meeting that follows at 7 p.m.
Council will schedule a public hearing for submission of a grant application for the Community Development Block Grant, which comes after a resolution to approve reimbursement for the Downtown Façade and Interior Improvement Grant Program.
They will also consider resolutions to approve a letter of intent to apply for the Main Street Iowa program, authorize an agreement between MercyOne Clive Pharmacy and the Indianola Fire Department, and to approve of Urban Revitalization Designations and agreement with Dust Pros Janitorial. Additionally, Mayor Stephanie Erickson will make a proclamation for Government Communicators Day.
The first readings of ordinances to regulate fat, oil, and grease discharge by food establishments and to amend the Elevate Indianola Comprehensive Plan for 2103 East 2nd Avenue will also be held.
The Indianola City Council meeting and study session usually scheduled today has been moved to Tuesday to 6 p.m. due to the Presidents Day holiday.
