The postseason begins tonight for the Norwalk boys basketball team as the Warriors host Des Moines Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. The Class 4A first round substate game can be heard live on kniakrls.com (KNIA3), beginning with pregame coverage at 6:45.

Norwalk hosted Lincoln for a regular-season game on December 19 and prevailed 55-32. Senior Aidan Harder led the Warriors with 21 points, making 7-of-9 three-pointers.

Norwalk is seeded third in Class 4A, Substate 2 with a 16-5 overall record while the Rails are 4-16 and enter the postseason on a nine-game losing streak.

Tonight’s winner advances to Friday’s semifinal round and will travel to Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson to take on the 18-3 Yellow Jackets. The rest of the Substate 2 bracket includes top-seeded West Des Moines Valley, Urbandale and Fort Dodge.
