The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Wednesday, where they set the public hearing for the property tax levy rate for April 2nd at 6pm.
The board tabled the appointments of members to various boards and commissions that serve the county, and approved an opioid settlement regarding the Bankruptcy of Endo International, a request from Auditor’s Office regarding destroying old meeting notes, a of 28E Agreement with the City of Des Moines for the public improvement project on Border Street Rehabilitation from 80th Avenue to 85th Avenue, and the appointment of a County Inspector for the Mid-American Pipeline through Warren County.
The board also approved Congressionally Directed Funding with the Iowa Department of Transportation for the R57 bridge improvement project.
The board also met in a work session to discuss the budget and the various boards and commissions that serve the county.
