The Indianola boys wrestling team features a majority underclassman lineup this season, featuring five freshmen, but will need to replace several contributors at the higher weights that will be lost to graduation. The Indians will lose state qualifiers Ethan McDonald at 165lbs, Dax Clatt at 175lbs, Isaiah Kellow at 190lbs, and Jaxson Boyd at heavyweight, part of 14 qualifiers to the state meet. Head coach Clint Manny tells KNIA Sports the Indians will miss the leadership shown by the upperclassman on the mat, and he appreciates the examples of how to be an Indian wrestler for all the younger athletes.
