Some of the best wrestling teams from around the country descend upon Simpson College today, as the Storm women’s wrestling program hosts the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships in Region V today. Simpson hosts the University of Iowa, among other ranked teams in the area including Wartburg, McKendree, William Jewell, and Lindenwood. Simpson is one of six host sites across the country, and in each weight class, the top four wrestlers from the regional tournaments will secure their places in the 2024 National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships scheduled for March 8-9 at the prestigious Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Action starts today at 10am.
