The Bluegrass Conference released its all-conference basketball list. Two Twin Cedars boys players have made the list. On the 2nd team was Holden Roberts. The sophomore led the Sabers with 11.8 points per game. He also grabbed a team leading 152 rebounds, had 31 assists and 35 steals. On honorable mention was Kaden Kloster. Kloster, also a sophomore, averaged 9.3 points per game, and led with 32 assists. The Sabers finished with a 6-12 record this winter. Melcher-Dallas also had players to make the all-conference list. For the girls…Addi Wadle made the 1st team. She led the Saints in nearly all categories averaging 21 points per game, which was also 7th in the state in class 1A and passed the 1,000 point mark for her career. She made 62 three point shots and led the Saints with a 78% freethrow mark, along with 43 steals and 86 assists. Making the 2nd team was Paetyn Anderson. Anderson averaged 7.5 points per game, had 40 assists and 35 steals. Also on the 2nd team was Gabby Overgaard. Overgaard patrolled the middle with 176 rebounds and 89 blocks, which leads the state in class 1A and 7th in Iowa in all classes. Earning honorable mention was Kamryn Hendrickson. Henrickson averaged 6.2 points per game and led the Saints in rebounding with 179. On the boys side, Reece Chiabotta was the lone Saint to get on the all-conference list, earning an honorable mention nod. The girls finished with an 18-4 record and 8-1 in the Bluegrass Conference regular season, which was 2nd and won the BGC Tournament Championship while the boys went 1-19.
