The Indianola girls basketball team had their season come to an end last week after playing a brutal schedule, but the coaching staff looks back on the season as a success. Head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports the Indians were as close a team as he has ever coached, the chemistry and leadership examples about their locker room talks were a big part of the improvement over the course of the season. Janssen also said he will miss the contributions from seniors Brynn Bishop and Brianne White. The Indians ended the season with a 6-17 record.
