PCM sophomore Tucker Wheeler has concluded another impressive wrestling season.

Last weekend Wheeler finished 4th at the Iowa State Wrestling tournament after also qualifying for state as a freshman. Wheeler finishes the 2023-2024 wrestling season with a 50-6 overall record at 144 pounds. PCM Wrestling Coach Rusty Vos talked about how hard of a worker Wheeler is.

“He is the hardest worker in the room. He wrestles every morning and every night. He is the hardest working kid. He was struggling with weight and weight management and he did a great job and is one of the best kids I’ve ever been around and coached understanding what he needs to do for his weight management. He did all the right things for eating. Next year if we get him at a good solid weight where he isn’t struggling to keep that weight down, I think he is going to be even stronger.”

Along with Wheeler, PCM had three other state qualifiers including Remington Fry, Kaliber Fry, and Hewitt Brinegar.
