The Pella School Board meeting originally scheduled for Monday has been moved to February 29th due to substate basketball. A review of K-5 class size standards as it relates to the number of staff members serving the elementary population is on the agenda. Other action items include consideration of approval for a district career and academic plan, a contract with Training Wheels for drivers education, a 2025 Choir Trip to Orlando, health and vision insurance plans, and a user agreement with the city of Pella for Bos Landen and golf uses. The board will also consider policy changes to the 505.8-R section of the district handbook and accepting the 2022-23 fiscal year audit. The Pella School Board meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 29th.
