Zach Stout, Plant Operations, was selected as Pella Regional Health Center’s January Shining Star for his high performance standards.

Stout, a resident of Oskaloosa, was nominated based on attitude, commitment, communication, safety, and ownership. 

Excerpt from his nomination:

“We had a vital piece of equipment stop working in the kitchen. Zach worked for several hours over a course of days to eliminate the problem. He went through extensive work to find a solution. He kept our department informed of his actions. Two days after the equipment was repaired, he stopped back in to make sure everything was still working properly. Zach’s diligence and communication throughout the incident made him deserving of this award.”

Stout will receive a $100 gift, a plaque, and will automatically be included in the nominations for the Shining Star of the Year award.
