Knoxville Raceway is in need of EMTs and Firefighters ahead of the 2024 race season.

These positions are crucial to maintain safety at the race track all season long and Knoxville Raceway needs qualified first responders to maintain a priority of safety at the track. Knoxville Raceway General Manager Jason Reed said he wants a staff that he can feel confident in no matter what happens on the track.

“We try to keep plenty of hands on deck and get them through the proper training so we always have somebody that we feel confident with no matter what happens on the race track. We don’t want anything to happen. We wish they were bored all year and didn’t have to do anything but that’s not part of the game. They are going to get into some things. We try to stay ahead of that and people on hand. We’re trying to get a few more on board and get started through the training process.”
