The Union Street Players invite the community to celebrate their 35th anniversary with two nights of songs, dancing, and drama.
The local theater troupe is hosting Back to the Stage on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm, and the event will include portions of shows performed over the last 35 years, as well as some new skits written by cast members. Jordan Pope with the Union Street Players says that many aspects of the performances are unique, including the fact that no tickets are being sold in advance.
“How it kind of works is that it’s a freewill donation, so there’s no tickets ahead of time. You just show up on either Friday, March 1st or Saturday March 2nd, or come for both and you might find some things that you didn’t see the first time. The show is at seven o’clock at the Joan Kuyper Auditorium at the Pella Community Center. It’s going to be an excellent show and is a great opportunity for you to invest in the arts and see a lot of talented community members come on stage and share their passion.”
