Construction on the downtown Indianola square is expected to begin later this spring, with the completion of the project expected later this summer.

Deputy City Manager/Chief of Development and Operations Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News crews are aiming to have work done in June or July, and if delays happen, in August. Construction will begin on the west alley and parking lot, and the final step of the project will be the installation of wayfinding signs, monuments, and archways that go over the sidewalks.
