The Knoxville Federated Garden Club will hold their annual Garden Gala fundraiser on Saturday, April 6th.
The event, which raises money for the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden, will be held at Dyer Hudson Hall at the Marion County Fairgrounds from 8:30am-3:30pm. Registration for this event includes morning coffee and pastries, three gardening speakers, vendors for shopping, and a catered lunch. Nila Landsberger with the Knoxville Federated Garden Club says there will be great speakers at the event.
“We have three fabulous speakers lined up. Keri Byrum is going to talk about tropicals. Randall Vos who is associated with our own Marion County Extension Office is going to talk about home fruit production, and Aaron Steil who is the CEO of Reiman Gardens in Ames is going to talk about water wise gardening.”
The cost for this event is $45 and the deadline to register is March 25th. You can mail your payment to PO Box 645, Knoxville, IA 50138.
