In addition to posting their most wins since the 2018-2019 season, the Pella Christian girls basketball team was among the leaders of different stat categories in the Little Hawkeye Conference and in Class 2A.

As a team, the Eagles ranked 11th in 2A in rebounds per game with 34.7, and that mark also led the conference. Pella Christian also finished second in the league in assists per game with 12.7 and steals per game with 10.8.

Individually, freshman Rachel Kacmarynski was eighth in the class and second in the Little Hawkeye in rebounds per game with 10.9. Junior Faith Kacmarynski finished tenth in 2A with 4.7 assists per game, and that mark led the conference. The Kacmarynski sisters also finished sixth and seventh in the league in points per game, with Rachel averaging 10.9 and Faith recording 10. Rachel also finished second in the conference in field goal percentage at 56.3%, while sophomore Addie Van Arendonk was fourth in the league at 48.9%. Adding to the Eagles’ Little Hawkeye leaders was freshman Jessa De Vries, whose 78.6% free throw percentage ranked fourth in the conference.

Pella Christian ended their season with a 10-13 record, and will look to build on that success in their second season under head coach Brendan Foughty next winter.
